of the less partisan positions. we saw it from bill clinton to barack obama, who have often reached out to put somebody in from the other party. which of course is what barack obama is doing. as i said, people against him in the hearing are likely not going to be the ones he is looking to as secretary as allies, to begin with. but generally this is a position that works across the aisle because of the position of the military. >> and he is a man without a home. because he is a republican in name, republicans don't think he is much of a republican. democrats, a lot of them don't -- they're not flthrilled with him because of the israeli comments. but he has to reach out to both sides of the aisle. >> he has work to do. let's talk about the economy and how it potentially could impact the president's political strength this year going into his second term. 157,000 jobs created in january. you take a look at the -- a lot of jobs created last year. still not moving. the economic growth as much as should -- but if you take a look at the jobs that have been created, you take a look at the dow jones. 1
